MONOSKI UPGRADES- SAVE- SAVE- SAVE
If your program
YETTI was purchased prior to 1999, it probably does
not have the conventional (Click-In,) binding system. Because we
appreciate that programs cannot afford to set aside usable equipment
to buy the newest models, we have made a conversion package available
to upgrade the older units to the binding. Any of the older models
of
the YETTI can be converted. The kit includes:
- a new lower
frame
- a ski foot
- a pinned Salomon
Race Binding
- any necessary
spacers and hardware.
*The conversion
requires a 13 ¼ inch shock, so if your monoski was
built prior to that change, you will also need a new shock and shock
towers
The advantages of
going to the binding include:
- better positioning
of the monoski on the ski which gives
the skier better position and therefore the ability to
properly pressure the ski during all phases of a turn
- elimination
of the front dampener
- more stable
and more level loading position
- convenience of
mounting skis
- convenience of
changing skis quickly and easily
- spend 1/3 the
cost of a new unit to get a much better monoski
NOTE: We
have made NO CHANGES in the adjustability of the lower
frame over the ski. You will still be able to loosen the skewers
by hand, and move your skier forward or backward over the ski.
