HIGH PERFORMANCE WITH BINDING (HPB)
A step up from the more generic program design, the YETTI HPB is for the individual who wants to take advantage of the increase in ability that customization adds to monoskiing. The frame design is the quick edge to edge single pivot point design, but made to measure for the taller or shorter person. The seat and footplate are customized for size and the seat insert is made to the individual’s exact measurements. There are options in the leg and back angle of the seat to compliment the skier’s physical ability and to allow more aggressive skiing. The standard shock has rebound dampening and adjustable spring tension. There are more advanced shocks available, and heavier or lighter springs are optional as well. The monoski is designed to utilize a conventional binding which has been pinned so that it won’t release. This feature lets the monoskier, for the first time, take advantage of all the technology that has been developed by the ski and binding manufacturers, and allows him or her to master the technique of linking clean, completely carved turns down the hill. Another advantage is the "click in and out" convenience and the ability to have different skis mounted in the conventional manner at your local ski shop. The binding also adds stability during loading and makes the loading process much easier.
